Dr. Jay Seitz (pronounced “sights”) is living proof that the best things in life come in pairs… he’s an identical twin. And to confuse the situation even more, his twin brother lives here in Corvallis. Originally from Yakima Washington, both Dr. Jay and his twin brother Jon settled in Corvallis as health professionals. (Dr. Seitz’s brother is director of Physical Therapy at Albany General Hospital)
After obtaining his bachelors degree in Public Health from the University of Washington in 1974, Dr. Seitz attended Pacific University receiving his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1978. He joined the staff at Corvallis Vision Center in August of that year. Dr. Seitz provides family vision services, and contact lens care, and is licensed in therapeutic and diagnostic pharmaceutical use.
His wife Sue, and sons Jeremy and Nathan are the center of his universe along with directing the contemporary choir at St. Mary’s Church. He enjoys golf and cycling in his leisure hours.
